How to Store Edibles in South African Heat

Heat, direct sunlight and humidity can change the texture and condition of edible products. Good storage protects the package, keeps the label readable and reduces accidental access.

Use the original package

Keep the product in its original labelled packaging. Do not transfer it into an unlabelled food container where it could be mistaken for an ordinary sweet.

Avoid heat and sunlight

  • Do not leave products in a parked vehicle.
  • Keep them away from windows and direct sunlight.
  • Use a cool, dry cupboard unless the product label says otherwise.
  • Close the package fully after opening.

Keep away from children and pets

Store adult-use products in a secure location that children, visitors and pets cannot access. Packaging that looks colourful or familiar must still be treated as an adult product.

Check before use

Do not use a product with damaged, leaking, contaminated or unidentifiable packaging. Contact support if the delivered item appears materially different from the order or product page.
